The first point of the route lies beyond the Arctic Circle. Norilsk greets you with northern sunlight, the heavy breath of industry, and the spirit of a land where humans remain guests. After breakfast — a short introduction to the city, whose history began long before nickel, and then — off to the helipad. From here, the journey begins — into a place without roads.
The first flight takes us above rivers of air, across lakes still fed by the spring thaw. We land near one of the most scenic waterfalls of the Putorana Plateau — the Great Irkinda. A 27-meter vertical drop. In sunny weather, a rainbow often arcs above the water — a sign you’ve arrived. This is where the great northern waters begin.
Not far away stands Mount Chaya-Kit, home of the snow sheep — rare endemic animals of the Putorana. They rarely show themselves, but with some luck, you might witness this legend in the wild. If you're truly lucky — perhaps even more than one.
Here, we’ll have our first northern picnic: surrounded by moss, rock, and the roar of water. Then — back to the skies and onward to Lake Lama. On its shore awaits the cozy “Zhar. Ptitsa” lodge, with a hot banya, open-air ofuro, and a dinner of northern delicacies. Everything is ready for you to become part of this land.

June 26, 2026. KANDINSKY AND ORANSKY WATERFALLSThe morning begins with a northern breakfast and a slow water journey — an air-cushion vessel will take us to Lake Kapchuk. At the mouth of the Nikita-Yuryakh River, where icy mountain waters meet the calm lake, we’ll set up camp. You can relax to the sound of the river, take a walk along the shore, try your hand at fishing, and wait for the chef’s fish soup — with grayling, greenling, and the scent of tundra firewood.
While one group enjoys the riverside, the other ascends into the sky. The helicopter takes us to the remote eastern reaches of the plateau where few have walked and the land roars with power. Kandinsky Waterfall — 108 meters of free fall. Not only is it the highest vertical-drop waterfall in Russia it’s a thunderous wall of water vanishing into a narrow canyon, where even the air vibrates with its force.
Next, we head to Oransky the widest waterfall of Putorana and the gateway to one of Siberia’s most spectacular canyons. Oransky Canyon stretches 30 kilometers deep, with rock walls rising 300 meters high. Everywhere waterfalls, rainbows, and echoes of ancient magma.
By evening, we return to the lodge. A hot banya, open-air ofuro with lake views, and a dinner of northern delicacies await.
On the lodge grounds stands an authentic Dolgan chuum — a living memory of the tundra. Step inside, sip tea brewed with lichen herbs, or spend the night within.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinnerAccommodation included: comfortable lodgeDay 3. June 27, 2026. LAKE LAMAMorning rises slowly over Lake Lama. This day is yours. If you wish — we’ll take to the skies again: to the Princess or Two Brothers waterfalls, to hidden filming locations from the movie “Territory,” to where the Irkinda River breaks through rock, where the Moya-Achin and Khitikal falls shimmer in the sun.
Or perhaps you’ll choose to stay. Walk barefoot on cedar planks, ride a jet ski, glide across the crystal waters on a SUP or packraft, or fish from the quiet shore as clouds drift above the mountain passes.
In the evening, we leave these remote lands and return to Norilsk aboard a high-speed air-cushion vessel. You’ll be met at the city pier and taken to your hotel for dinner and rest.
