TRAVEL PROGRAM: tour to FranceDay 1. September 7, 2026 (Monday). ARRIVAL IN BORDEAUXOur gastronomic journey begins with our arrival in Bordeaux — whether it happened the evening before or on the very day the program starts, for the true magic awaits us the moment we find ourselves in the capital of wine and taste. Our first stop on this journey is the world wine centre La Cité du Vin, where we won't merely view exhibits — we will live through a multisensory immersion into wine culture: sounds, aromas, textures, and imagery from around the world.
Then the journey will carry us up to the seventh floor, to the panoramic restaurant Le 7, where over lunch amid glass walls that open up the whole of Bordeaux before us, we will taste dishes in which wine becomes the chief storyteller. Towards evening, a guided walking tour awaits us — a journey through time along golden streets, reflections on the water, and the living stories of the city. This day draws to a close on the quayside of the bay: a seafood dinner with a glass of chilled white.
Recommended flight:- Turkish Airlines, departure from Moscow on September 6 at 01:15, layover in Istanbul 1h 50min, arrival in Bordeaux at 10:10 on September 6 (an additional night at a hotel in Bordeaux will be required).
Meals included: -Accommodation included: Hotel Conti 4* or similarDay 2. September 8, 2026 (Tuesday). TRANSFER TO ARCACHONWe will start the early morning with a light breakfast at the hotel, and then the road itself becomes a meditation — the hour and a half to Arcachon flies by in a single moment as vineyards, pine trees, and the breath of the nearby ocean pass by the window. By ten o'clock, the journey will bring us straight to the Oyster Museum — a place where these precious molluscs reveal their secrets and we learn how the taste that gourmets cross continents for is born. Next comes a living continuation of the story: a visit to the Nicolas oyster farm, where theory acquires a salty taste and we see with our own eyes how the very oysters that will soon find themselves on our plates are cultivated and harvested.
Lunch at Cabane du Paliquey is not simply a meal, but a stop in the very heart of oyster paradise: a wooden cabane, a table with a view over the water, the freshest oysters, and local white wine. Then we will head to the legendary Dune du Pilat — that mountain of sand that has become a symbol of freedom and the meeting of the elements. The moment arrives for an aperitif at La Corniche — a terrace suspended above the ocean, from which both the dune and the boundless Atlantic are visible, and a glass in hand becomes an extension of the landscape.
After this high point — a leisurely stroll through Arcachon, its colourful villas, quiet lanes, and fishermen's quarters, where everything breathes with the sea and oysters. We are in no hurry anywhere, because this journey is about a state of being, not about rushing.
Meals included: breakfastAccommodation included: Hotel Arcanse by Inwood or similarDay 3. September 9, 2026 (Wednesday). CAP FERRETAfter an early breakfast, we transfer to the Cap-Ferret headland. By noon, we're already seated at a table in Le Port d'attache, a legendary restaurant right at the water's edge — and lunch here is not just a succession of courses, but a gastronomic chapter of our journey: the freshest seafood from the bay, linen tablecloths, swaying masts outside the window, and the feeling that we are exactly where we are meant to be.
After lunch, we transport ourselves to the very heart of oyster life—the village of Piraillan, where every house, every dock, and every breath is steeped in the sea. We visit an oyster farm, watching as small gray shells transform into treasures, and we dine right on the deck of a pinasse — the boat that is the symbol of Arcachon. At high tide, we glide directly over the oyster "beds" and see from the water how oyster farming is done.
Meals included: breakfastAccommodation included: Hotel Arcanse by Inwood or similarDay 4. September 10, 2026 (Thursday). MÉDOCAn early breakfast — and our journey leaves the coast behind, heading to where the land breathes with the vine and has been nurturing the glory of France for centuries. The road leads us to the Médoc region. Here we will find ourselves among the vineyards of Château Margaux or Pauillac — those very names that have become synonymous with perfection.
By one o'clock, our gastronomic journey will bring us to the restaurant Café Lavinal at Château Lynch-Bages. Lunch here is the taste of Médoc, told through simple yet impeccably executed dishes, where every detail is steeped in the spirit of the place. After the meal, a tour of the wine estate will unveil the alchemy that transforms a berry into a work of art.
Next, a culinary masterclass awaits us with Yulia Yaroslavskaya, author of cookbooks and host of the show "The World on Your Plate". Together with her, we will create dishes inspired by our journey, and then sit down to a supper that has just come to life beneath our own hands.
The day draws to a close with the same sense of noble beauty with which it began: a night at the magnificent Château La Maison d'Estournel.
Meals included: breakfastAccommodation included: Château La Maison d'Estournel or similarDay 5. September 11, 2026 (Friday). RETURN TO BORDEAUXAt 7:30 in the morning, after breakfast, a transfer to the ferry, and then we are already gliding across the water, crossing the strait to the Île d'Oléron — a land of white houses, fishing villages, and endless oyster beds.
The first stop here is the Cité de l'Huître in Marennes, a true centre of the oyster universe, where the journey gains depth: we learn how that very famous Marennes oyster is born, walk through interactive halls, and touch a history kneaded from sea water and human skill. Then lunch at Cabane Gillardeau — not simply a place to eat, but a legend, where perhaps the most exquisite oysters in the world are served. After lunch we will return to the mainland and make our way to Bordeaux. End of the program.
